A Magical Vacation

Words cannot describe...

... the magic of Disneyland.
The joy of seeing the wonder through your children's eyes.

It truly is a "small world" full of wonderful people. Thanks to all of you who made this week possible! We love you!

Bedtime was not a problem. :)

Kindergarten Graduation

Congratulations Brooklynn! Our Kindergarten Graduate.

Kyle and Matthew Dedication

Kyle Christopher and Matthew Louis were dedicated on Mother's Day Weekend!

Matthew had a personal chat with Pastor Jim. :)

As we were walking off of the stage, Kyle whispers in my ear, "Mommy, I thought we were going to see God."

Our handsome young men... Praise God for his precious gifts!

Welcome Home Sarah Sparkles!

It all began 1 year ago at the Kootenai County Fair, our dear Brooklynn fell in love with bunnies. She would plead, "Mom and Dad, I really want a bunny." Chris and I thought this would pass, but in March Brooklynn was still pursuing her love for bunnies. "O.K. Brooklynn, we said, "We will help you find a bunny of your own when you give up your thumb." I never thought I would see the day, but that very night her thumb days were over.
The bunny hunt...
We then were on the hunt for this precious bunny Sarah. After numerous emails and phone calls, we finally found a breeder of Holland Lops. Brooklynn had a choice between 3 holland lops and this cute grey bunny was her choice. Brooklynn prayed for the bunny every night and finally 3 weeks passed and we were on the road to bring the bunny home. Whew!

We are all thrilled to have this precious little bunny. She is very friendly and mild tempered. I think she will be a great pet. Even Chris admits he likes little Sarah.

Budding Musician

Our little musician...Kyle.
Kyle attends Bible Study Fellowship with me on Wednesday mornings. This is how our conversation went in the car on the way home.
Kyle did you have a good time playing with your class outside?
"No, I just stood there. But then we went inside and sang songs, this made me happy." :)
Just like his dad says "You can't be sad when you are singing!"

Happy Birthday's!!

Brooklynn turned 6 years old, April 5!!

Kyle turned 3 years old, January 17!

Connor turned 7 years old, October 29!

Each birthday is filled with new surprises and fun adventures!

Happy Birthday Dr. Seuss!

We do like green eggs and ham, Sam I am...

But this silly, silly hat...Kyle wasn't a fan.

But the other two, they liked a few. Oh, dad and I had fun with you!
(O.K. so I am not Dr. Seuss, but we had fun celebrating his birthday at their school.)

Connor's News Debut!

Not only is Connor a slugger in baseball, he made a homerun in the Coeur d' Alene Press.

This article was on the front page of our local paper, "First-graders vent about bear vandals." A vandal attempted to cut down their Bryan Bear with a saw. Connor's teacher Mrs. Bayes asked the students to write their thoughts. Connor's made it in the paper.

Bryan pupils pen letters to the editor about attack on school maskot.
Young Connor Waddell penned that he is "very mad" and "very sad." "I think that it is a mean thing to do. Leave our property alone. That bear is the most fantastic carved bear I have ever seen."

This is the actual writing from Connor.
I am very mad and I am very, very sad. I think that it is a mean thing to do to our Bryan Bear. Leave our property alone. I love that bear so much. That is the most fantastic carved bear I have ever seen.

A special gift from our daughter!

Our beautiful daughter Brooklynn surprised Chris and I with a beautiful flower and note.
"Mom and Dad, I made something for you!"

Brooklynn is a very loving and caring sweetheart.

A moment we will cherish...

Kyle

Kyle is our wonderful 3 year old. He loves to play swords, basketball, baseball, puppies with his sister, cars...
Kyle loves taking rides on the 4 wheeler with his dad.

He is also a big help around the house. "Mom, the mail is here!"

Kyle likes to hit the ball over the fence! He can really slug the ball. Papa brought the kids a great baseball tool on a string. This is so nice for mom and dad in the out field! :)

Kyle loves to take his brother and sister to school. :)

Brooklynn

Our Brooklynn has recently turned 6! She has wanted a bunny since last summer and has finally earned a bunny. :) She will soon be learning how to take take of her furry friend.

Brooklynn has been invited to play soccer with her friend Kaycee. She had her first game last Saturday and held her own.

She liked playing goalie and her dad was proud. He was a goalie.

Brooklynn is showing real talent on the piano. She has learned twinkle, twinkle little star, Peter, Peter Pumpkin Eater and Mary had a Little Lamb.

Connor

Connor's spring concert was a great surprise! Connor was selected to play the tamborine solo! :) We were so proud.

Connor has been perfecting his trampoline skills and is amazed his dad can do a front flip on the trampoline.

Connor played basketball this winter and was the teams point guard. This was a hoot to watch.

He was chosen to jump for the ball at his very first game. I am not sure he knew exactly what he was doing, but by the end of the season he was dribbling, passing the ball and shooting well.

Connor is now playing kid pitch baseball. I will have photos at another time.

Fun on the 4 wheeler

The kids and Chris have had so much fun on the 4 wheeler. They have each had a nice ride to the top of Canfield Mountain (behind our house).
" Mom, we could see New York from up there." :)
