Connor's News Debut!

Not only is Connor a slugger in baseball, he made a homerun in the Coeur d' Alene Press.

This article was on the front page of our local paper, "First-graders vent about bear vandals." A vandal attempted to cut down their Bryan Bear with a saw. Connor's teacher Mrs. Bayes asked the students to write their thoughts. Connor's made it in the paper.

Bryan pupils pen letters to the editor about attack on school maskot.
Young Connor Waddell penned that he is "very mad" and "very sad." "I think that it is a mean thing to do. Leave our property alone. That bear is the most fantastic carved bear I have ever seen."

This is the actual writing from Connor.
I am very mad and I am very, very sad. I think that it is a mean thing to do to our Bryan Bear. Leave our property alone. I love that bear so much. That is the most fantastic carved bear I have ever seen.

A special gift from our daughter!

Our beautiful daughter Brooklynn surprised Chris and I with a beautiful flower and note.
"Mom and Dad, I made something for you!"

Brooklynn is a very loving and caring sweetheart.

A moment we will cherish...

Kyle

Kyle is our wonderful 3 year old. He loves to play swords, basketball, baseball, puppies with his sister, cars...
Kyle loves taking rides on the 4 wheeler with his dad.

He is also a big help around the house. "Mom, the mail is here!"

Kyle likes to hit the ball over the fence! He can really slug the ball. Papa brought the kids a great baseball tool on a string. This is so nice for mom and dad in the out field! :)

Kyle loves to take his brother and sister to school. :)

Brooklynn

Our Brooklynn has recently turned 6! She has wanted a bunny since last summer and has finally earned a bunny. :) She will soon be learning how to take take of her furry friend.

Brooklynn has been invited to play soccer with her friend Kaycee. She had her first game last Saturday and held her own.

She liked playing goalie and her dad was proud. He was a goalie.

Brooklynn is showing real talent on the piano. She has learned twinkle, twinkle little star, Peter, Peter Pumpkin Eater and Mary had a Little Lamb.

Connor

Connor's spring concert was a great surprise! Connor was selected to play the tamborine solo! :) We were so proud.

Connor has been perfecting his trampoline skills and is amazed his dad can do a front flip on the trampoline.

Connor played basketball this winter and was the teams point guard. This was a hoot to watch.

He was chosen to jump for the ball at his very first game. I am not sure he knew exactly what he was doing, but by the end of the season he was dribbling, passing the ball and shooting well.

Connor is now playing kid pitch baseball. I will have photos at another time.

Fun on the 4 wheeler

The kids and Chris have had so much fun on the 4 wheeler. They have each had a nice ride to the top of Canfield Mountain (behind our house).
" Mom, we could see New York from up there." :)
